Petit Guillaume occupies one half of the old chai (wine store) at Maison Guillaume Blanc and is a sister property to Petit Blanc, which is next door.
Dressed in pale golden stone and crowned with original exposed oak beams , this charming bolthole offers cosy, yet spacious open plan living and sleeps two.
The well-equipped kitchen will appeal to ‘foodies’ who love to shop at the local markets and cook up a feast in this 'home from home'. The stylish swimming pool, sun terrace and shady pool cabana are just a short walk away.
The Space
Petit Guillaume oozes with character and boasts many original features such as ancient oak beams, exposed stone walls and curious niches and window openings uncovered when the old render was removed
Although couple-sized, there is immediately a feeling of warmth and spaciousness when you enter the property. The ceilings are high and the natural stone walls are extremely thick – which means the property stays soothingly cool when the temperatures outside soar
There is an elegant and spacious bedroom with king-sized bed, plenty of hanging space in the large antique wardrobe and air conditioning. The ensuite shower room is beautifully appointed with a rainfall shower, twin sinks and antique mirrors.
The open plan living space comprises a fully equipped kitchen with a large kitchen island, an antique table for fabulous feasts and a comfy sitting area with a slouchy sofa, a couple of armchairs and a smart TV hidden away in an upcycled antique cabinet found in a local brocante.
French doors lead outside onto your own private terrace with outside dining area and scenic view of the pool and surrounding vineyard. A BBQ is available for you to use on those days you decide to stay home and eat al fresco. Watch out for the occasional deer running through the neat rows of vines and, if you’re lucky, you may see a red squirrel leaping from tree to tree.
